KILLI KHARBOZI (KAWAS-ZIARAT)

Kawas is union council of Ziarat tehsil . Kawas has many small villages. KILLI KHARBOZI is one of the small villages of kawas.

Khar means Donkey and bozi mean to take in Pahto. In past may be more than 200 years ago this place had lot of greenery and Westland. People from nearby villages comes on donkey and collect  woods and other things

It is a small village with approximately 35 to 40 houses. The majority of people are connected to agriculture sectore some people owned there fruits orchards and .Some have government jobs.

Tribe and Language

The tribes are Kakar and Sarangai and Pashto is spoken language.

Cross-Pollination Nurseries

Killi Kharboi is famous for its commercial nurseries which has specialty in cross pollination of trees and plants with exceptional quality.

Mostly cross pollination is of Apple and cherry trees. These include retail and wholesale nurseries. These are only nurseries of its kind that  do Cross-Pollination  of fruit tress  commercially.

Kharbozi is the only village in entire Ziarat district which provides fruit trees plants, like Apples, Cherries and other kinds. 

These trees are sold approximately of Rs 200/ per plant. The trees are sold not only in Ziarat but other districts as well, even to Afghanistan. The 95 % farmer of Killi  Kharbozi  has nurseries.

There is no shops and people go to nearby Killi mainly Warchoon ad Kawas for shopping. There are four mosques.

There is one primary school .Education has priory here and People send their kids for higher studies to other cities, like Quetta, Multan, Islamabad etc.

There is one Mazar near park which is called Ziarat. People visit to mazar in day time. It is said in night this place become haunted and people get harm from jins in various ways. 

Killi Kharbozi is located at the base of mountain. There is tube well and its water is supplied to Warchoom and Kawas orchids.

TATORI / TAKALI BREAD

On the occasion of Shab- e - barath (A holy night between 14 and 15 of Islamic month of Shaban) Children of Ziarat gathered in groups and visit all the houses in their killi or village.People give small round bread or nan to them.This small round bread is calld 'Tatori' or 'Takali' 

The collection of 'Tatori'is a great joy for children and it is a big event for them.

The distribution of 'Tatori' is very beneficial for poor families.  It remained fresh for 3 days. For poor people it is special event.

KILLI QUBA (KAWAS)

Kawas is a town and union council of Ziarat District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located at 30°27'56N 67°34'56E and has an altitude of 2116m (6945ft). 

KILLI QUBA is a village of kawas. It is very beautiful place with lot of natural beauty .It is surrounded by Khoshnob mountains. It has Apple and cherry orchids.

Kach is town and union council of the Ziarat District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located at 30°26'2N 67°19'27E and has an altitude of 2020 m (6630ft).

In British rule kach was very important place. There was a small railway station named Kach Station and blockhouse near the divide between Harnai and Quetta in 1895.
